CS Glory ("we", "us") is a community-run competitive matchmaking platform for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, operated as an individual project by Michael Gross (Israel). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. It applies to the CS Glory website, matchmaking service, and game servers.
For an at-a-glance view of the cookies and local storage we use, see the Cookie Policy.
1. Data We Collect
We collect only what we need to run competitive matchmaking.
1.1 From your Steam sign-in
1.2 Data you provide
1.3 Data generated by using the Service
2. Why We Process It (Legal Bases)
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases.
You may withdraw consent for consent-based analytics at any time via Settings → Privacy & Social (Analytics), or by clearing site data in your browser.
3. How We Share Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the parties needed to run the Service.
Your public profile (display name, avatar, rank, and match history) is visible to other users of the Service by design.
4. Retention
We keep data only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for.
When you delete your account, we remove or irreversibly anonymize your personal data, retaining only what a legal obligation requires.
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR, Israel's Privacy Protection Law, or similar laws), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Port your data to another service.
- Withdraw consent for consent-based processing.
To exercise any of these, contact michael@csglory.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority; in the EU, contact details are available via the European Data Protection Board.
6. International Transfers
Our infrastructure may process data outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
7. Security
We use access controls, encrypted transport, and least-privilege handling to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures and act promptly on incidents.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes update the version above and, where the change affects your consent, require you to re-accept before continuing to use gated features.
