Terms of Service
CS Glory
Effective Date: May 23, 2026
Last Updated: May 23, 2026
1. Who We Are
CS Glory is a community-run competitive matchmaking platform for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It is operated as an individual project by Michael Gross (Israel), reachable at michael@csglory.com. CS Glory is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation.
These Terms govern your access to and use of the CS Glory website, matchmaking service, game servers, and related features (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You must also own a legitimate copy of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and have a Steam account in good standing.
You may not use the Service if you are subject to a Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) ban relevant to competitive play, or if a prior CS Glory account of yours was terminated for a serious violation.
3. Accounts and Steam Sign-In
You sign in through Steam. We receive your public Steam profile data (SteamID, display name, and avatar) to identify you. You are responsible for keeping your Steam account secure; activity that occurs through your Steam login is treated as yours.
Choose a display name that does not impersonate another person, staff member, or Valve, and that complies with the Acceptable Use Policy. We may require you to change a name that violates these Terms.
4. Fair Play
Competitive integrity is the point of this Service. You agree not to:
- Use cheats, aimbots, wallhacks, scripts, macros, or any third-party software that alters game behavior.
- Exploit bugs in the game, our servers, or the matchmaking system.
- Deliberately lose, throw matches, boost accounts, queue-dodge to manipulate rankings, or smurf on alternate accounts to face lower-Elo players.
- Grief teammates, sabotage rounds, or abuse in-match controls such as pauses.
Ranking is measured in Elo. Attempts to manipulate Elo through anything other than honest play are a violation of these Terms.
5. Conduct
Your behavior on the Service is also governed by the Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, and illegal activity are prohibited both in text chat and in voice.
6. Virtual Items and Loadouts
The Service may let you configure in-match weapon skins and other cosmetic loadout items. These are display-only representations rendered by our servers for your session. They are not Steam inventory items, they have no cash value, they are not tradable, and they confer no ownership. We may add, change, or remove cosmetic features at any time.
Any premium subscription grants access to features for the duration of the subscription only. Billing and refund terms are presented at the point of purchase.
7. Enforcement
We may issue warnings, cooldowns, mutes, voice mutes, or bans for violations of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Enforcement levels and cooldown schedules are described in the Acceptable Use Policy. Serious or repeated violations may result in a permanent ban.
Where an enforcement action is appealable, an appeal process is offered inside the app. Approval of an appeal is at our discretion.
8. Your Content
You retain any rights you hold in the content you submit (such as your bio or display name). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and process that content solely to operate the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the right to submit it.
9. Service Availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. Matches, rankings, and stats depend on third-party game servers and may be affected by outages outside our control.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, rankings, or virtual items. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms. Some provisions, including fair-play, conduct, disclaimers, and liability, survive termination.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make a material change, we update the version above and require you to accept the new version before continuing to use gated features. Your continued use after acceptance constitutes agreement.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Israel, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
